course Cancellation Policies

Please read our cancellation policies below carefully, these vary depending on the type of course you book with us:

Short courses via our online shop:

Due to our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you can’t attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed, so please give us as much notice as possible as this will increase your chances.

In the event that we are forced to cancel a class, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or swap your booking to another suitable date.

We are unable to offer a refund for last minute cancellations if we cannot resell the space. As a small business, it is not financially viable for us to do so. Please take this into consideration before booking, as you may risk losing the cost of your class if unable to attend at the last minute. Even so, please get in touch, we will always make an effort to fill your place if we can.

18 week leisure courses:

As our class sizes are small, spaces are limited and so your leisure deposit is non-refundable. Please double check the dates and ensure you can attend ahead of booking. For cancellations at least four weeks in advance of the beginning of the course, we may be able to transfer you onto a future course, but cannot guarantee this.

The full balance of the course is due 14 days before the beginning of the course, unless you are paying in two installments, in which case the first installment is due then, with the remaining balance due one month into your course.

If you cancel your place on a course 10 working days or less before the course start date, all unpaid installments must be paid, unless we are able to back fill the space (i.e. we have a waiting list).

AMUSF courses:

These terms will be communicated to you when you enquire via courses@shoreditchdesignrooms.com and differ from the above.
