Join us for an evening of friendly chat and some mindful crafting as you learn the mindful, relaxing and playful skill of English Paper Piecing. This traditional patchwork technique, which originated in England in the 1770’s, is very portable and doesn’t require expensive equipment; it allows you to create intricate designs with fabric and paper.

English Paper Piecing is versatile and can be used in many projects such as scatter cushions to full sized quilts, bag and garment making or anything else your imagination comes up with. English Paper Piecing kits will be available for sale on the day too.

We are very excited to welcome a guest teacher for this session. Anna Wraith of The Hackney Quilter is a quilt pattern designer and teacher who has been featured in Love Quilting & Patchwork and Living Etc magazines for her designs and kits. What to expect? You'll be greeted with warm smiles and a glass of wine to kickstart your evening of creativity. We will guide you through the steps and techniques of punch needlingto make sure you are confident in your ideas and capabilities, allowing you to explore techniques and designs to your hearts' content.
